El rol de la tecnología en la creación de países ricos y pobres: el subdesarrollo en un sistema schumpeteriano

Busca mostrar que la dinámica de la economía schumpeteriana, además de explicar la generación de riqueza, contiene implícitos los elementos de una teoría de la pobreza relativa. Pretende explicar el papel que juega el cambio tecnológico en la creación de lo que se ha denominado 'subdesarrollo schumpeteriano". Se sostiene que la escuela económica alemana, de la que Schumpeter es parte, ha considerado desde un inicio los elementos característicos de una teoría de crecimiento desigual, lo cual contrasta profundamente con la escuela económica anglosajona, que, principalmente desde 1890, ha generado teorías de crecimiento y de comercio que dejan entrever una equitativa distribución de la actividad comercial yel ingreso.
