Editorial Ethics

The Editorial Board, authors, and reviewers declare their adherence to ethical research principles and their lack of conflicts of interest. Authors must indicate any funding sources related to their research. Authors must specify each author's contribution, including their full name, in the submitted text.

  1. Hong Kong Principles for the evaluation of researchers, whose objective is to recognize and reward them for behaviors that lead to reliable research by avoiding questionable practices.
  2. Budapest Open Access Initiative which considers the products of scientific research a public good whose access is completely free and unrestricted by all scientists, academics, professors, students and other curious minds.
  3. Cape Town Open Education Declaration It is a global effort to promote open educational resources that anyone can use, customize, improve, and redistribute without restrictions.
  4. The Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) recognizes the need to improve the way in which the results of academic research are evaluated.

On unethical conduct

Anyone may report unethical conduct to the editor. The journal will address all complaints, regardless of when the original was published. Allegations must be supported by evidence in order to initiate an investigation. All complaints and reports of unethical or misconduct will be treated with the utmost seriousness.
